About

Welcome to GenAIGems.com.

Background

When I first stumbled upon ChatGPT sometime in 2022, it was my first opportunity to explore generative AI and all that it could offer. At first, I wasn’t a fan because its abilities were pretty much limited, and its outputs for most of the use cases I tested it for were quite subpar–by my own standards.

For example, it was quite easy to tell that ChatGPT generated a piece of text — no thanks to the overuse of awkward signature words such as landscape, tapestry, crucial, testament, and many others that no longer commonly appear in modern writing. Also, the first version of DALL.E-3 generated images that screamed “AI” and could be sensed as such from afar.

But with the release of subsequent versions of ChatGPT and other LLMs, the scope of what one could achieve with gen AI continued to widen rapidly. And the output for various use cases became more impressive with each new version.

My confidence in generative AI hit the roof in 2023 when I mastered the art of tweaking prompts to get LLMs to give me exactly what I wanted. I started using it to handle most of the stuff that I’ve done manually (or otherwise traditionally) over the years — writing detailed articles for my blogs, generating images for various purposes, crafting outlines, brainstorming for ideas, breaking down complex concepts, etc.

And from that time to date, I’ve always gotten results that left me wowed — thanks to ChatGPT and Claude AI, my favorite LLMs!

My self-thought skills and exploits with generative AI opened my eyes to a number of opportunities. Aside from using creating AI-based web assets that are generating some decent income, I was also able to close a good number of freelance gigs both as a prompt engineer and an AI-assisted content writer.

Things have now reached a stage where I’ve practically become addicted to gen AI and just can’t stop trying new things and pushing it to its limits. Lately, I used it to develop some WordPress plugins despite not knowing jackshit about coding. And I’m now on using it to master and execute workflow automation and many other stuff.

In sum, it keeps getting more and more interesting.

My Mission and Vision

So, why did I set up this blog?

The idea of starting this blog struck me when I realized that my journey and exploits with gen AI is a long, interesting, and continuous one that many others like you can benefit from.

On this blog, I’ll be sharing details of my exploits with gen AI and providing you with practical insights and analyses based on my experience. If you’re looking to know what gen AI can do or cannot do, how to get it to do simple and advanced stuff, opportunities you can tap into, and other stuff, you’ll learn a lot from this blog.

My aim is to build and grow this blog into one of the most robus online resources for learning and exploring the potential of gen AI. And by sharing valuable stuff in my bid to achieve this goal, I aspire to lead conversations that shape the future, highlighting groundbreaking uses of generative AI in everyday life, work, and creative endeavors.

Who Exactly Am I?

I’m Abass Toriola, a seasoned content writer, AI prompt engineer, gen AI enthusiast, and licensed medical doctor based in Southwestern Nigeria.

With a solid background in content writing, I’ve built a business out of building blogs from scratch and growing them into money-spinning web assets. But when I became more confident in ChatGPT’s content writing capabilities, I came up with the idea of building blogs purely on AI-generated content. After experimenting with the idea and seeing promising results, I created a few sites that made decent income consistently.

I later got to discover countless other things that I could do with gen AI, especially the far more intelligent “Pro” version. And as I used the model for various operations, I gradually mastered the skill of crafting clear and specific instructions for generating any realistic result from ChatGPT — that’s called prompt engineering.

Then I moved on to offering prompt engineering services to clients all over the world. To date, I’ve helped clients all over the world develop prompts for various business operations, ranging from simple ones to complex, seemingly impossible ones.

And the more I do all of that, the more opportunities I discover in the world of generative AI. I’ve also offered consultation to clients who wanted me to test, tweak, or improve the prompts that drive their AI-based SaaS or custom tools.

Aside from working with ChatGPT, I also work with Claude AI, Ideogram, and many AI-based platforms. And I’ve gained a lot of insights on how to achieve various goals with these amazing tools.

In April 2025, I finally launched this blog after a few weeks of tinkering with the idea. I hope you’ll learn a lot of the interesting stuff I’ll be sharing here about generative AI models, tools, platforms, and everything you can achieve with them.

I’m constantly learning how to execute more and more stuff with gen AI. As I learn and master all these, I’ll share my findings and experiences with you on this blog.

So, join me, and let’s explore the interesting and amazing world of generative AI together!
